01
Quotations
All quotations are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices may be changed after the quotation validity period. A quotation is based on the information, quantities, specifications and measurements available at the time it is prepared. Any changes to the original requirements may result in additional charges.
02
Order Acceptance
An order will be considered accepted once the customer confirms the order in writing, approves the artwork, pays the required deposit, or otherwise instructs PMDG Studio to begin work.
By placing an order or making payment, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
03
Deposits & Payment
A deposit may be required before design, printing, manufacturing or production begins. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance must be paid before collection, delivery or completion of the work.
PMDG Studio reserves the right to suspend production, delivery or installation where payment is overdue.
04
Artwork & Proof Approval
Where artwork or a proof is provided, the customer is responsible for checking all details carefully before approval, including spelling, grammar, telephone numbers, addresses, prices, measurements, colours, images, logos, layout and other information.
Production will normally begin only after artwork approval has been received. Once artwork has been approved, PMDG Studio cannot be held responsible for errors that were present in the approved artwork.
Any amendments requested after approval may result in additional charges and may extend the completion date.
05
Customer Supplied Artwork
Artwork supplied by the customer must be suitable for professional printing or production. Where possible, files should be supplied in the required size, resolution, colour format and file type.
PMDG Studio cannot guarantee the quality of printing produced from low-resolution, compressed, incorrectly sized or otherwise unsuitable customer-supplied files.
06
Colours
Colours displayed on computer screens, mobile phones and other digital devices may appear different from the final printed product. Differences can also occur between different printers, materials, inks, batches and production methods.
Exact colour matching is not guaranteed unless a specific colour matching requirement has been agreed in writing before production.
07
Design Work
Design work includes the number of revisions agreed in the quotation. Additional design work or repeated alterations outside the agreed scope may be charged separately.
Design concepts, proofs and artwork created by PMDG Studio remain the property of PMDG Studio until all related charges have been paid in full, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
08
Copyright & Customer Content
The customer is responsible for ensuring that they have permission to use all logos, photographs, graphics, fonts, trademarks, text and other material supplied to PMDG Studio.
PMDG Studio accepts no responsibility for copyright, trademark or other intellectual property claims resulting from material supplied or approved by the customer.
09
Production Times
Any production or completion date provided is an estimate unless specifically agreed in writing as a fixed deadline.
Production times may be affected by artwork approval, payment, availability of materials, supplier delays, equipment issues, delivery delays or circumstances outside the reasonable control of PMDG Studio.
10
Changes to an Order
Changes requested after an order has been confirmed may result in additional design, material, printing, manufacturing or labour charges.
Where production has already started, it may not be possible to change or cancel the order.
11
Cancellation
Cancellation requests must be made as soon as possible. Where design, printing, manufacturing, ordering of materials or other work has already started, the customer may be responsible for the costs already incurred.
Deposits may be non-refundable once work or production has commenced, subject to any statutory rights that apply.
12
Bespoke & Personalised Products
Many products supplied by PMDG Studio are custom-made, printed, personalised or manufactured specifically for the customer.
Once production of a bespoke or personalised product has started, cancellation or return may not be possible except where the product is faulty, incorrectly supplied, or where the customer has another applicable statutory right.
13
Quantity Variations
Where applicable to commercial printing processes, small variations in finished quantity may occur. Any significant quantity variation will be discussed with the customer where reasonably possible.
14
Finishing & Size Tolerances
Small variations may occur during cutting, trimming, folding, laminating, mounting, finishing and manufacturing. These are normal characteristics of commercial production and do not necessarily constitute a defect.
15
Materials
Materials will be supplied as described in the quotation or order. Where a particular material becomes unavailable, PMDG Studio may offer a suitable alternative after discussing the change with the customer.
16
Collection
Customers should inspect goods when collecting them and notify PMDG Studio as soon as reasonably possible if there is an obvious problem.
Completed orders should be collected within a reasonable period after the customer has been notified that they are ready.
17
Delivery
Delivery dates and times are estimates unless specifically agreed otherwise. PMDG Studio cannot be held responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers, traffic, weather or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
The customer must provide an accurate delivery address and any necessary access instructions.
18
Installation
Where installation is included, the customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the installation location at the agreed time.
Unless specifically included in the quotation, additional building work, electrical work, structural work, scaffolding, access equipment, permits or repairs are not included.
Additional charges may apply where installation is delayed or made more difficult because of restricted access, unsuitable surfaces, hidden services, structural problems or site conditions that could not reasonably have been identified in advance.
19
Measurements
Where the customer provides measurements, the customer is responsible for ensuring that those measurements are correct.
PMDG Studio cannot accept responsibility for products manufactured to incorrect measurements supplied or approved by the customer.
20
Electrical Work
Electrical work is included only where specifically stated in the quotation. Existing electrical supplies are assumed to be safe, suitable and operational unless otherwise agreed.
Additional electrical work required after installation begins may be charged separately.
21
Planning Permission & Landlord Approval
Unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing, the customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary planning permission, advertising consent, landlord permission, building approval or other authorisation required for signage or installation work.
22
Inspection of Goods
The customer should inspect completed goods as soon as reasonably possible after collection, delivery or installation.
Any alleged defect, damage, shortage or incorrect item should be reported to PMDG Studio promptly, together with photographs or other reasonable evidence where requested.
23
Faulty or Incorrect Products
If PMDG Studio confirms that a product has been manufactured or supplied incorrectly, PMDG Studio may, as appropriate, repair, replace or reproduce the affected item.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
24
Customer Damage
PMDG Studio is not responsible for damage caused after collection, delivery or installation by misuse, accidental damage, improper storage, unauthorised alteration, unsuitable cleaning products, third-party work, vandalism or normal wear and tear.
25
Ownership of Goods
All goods supplied by PMDG Studio remain the property of PMDG Studio until payment for the relevant order has been received in full, to the extent permitted by law.
26
Unpaid Accounts
PMDG Studio reserves the right to pause further work on an account where invoices or agreed payments remain outstanding.
Reasonable costs incurred in recovering overdue amounts may be charged where permitted by law.
27
Storage of Artwork & Files
PMDG Studio may retain artwork and production files for convenience but does not guarantee permanent storage of customer files.
Customers should keep their own copies of important logos, artwork, photographs and other files.
28
Use of Completed Work
Unless the customer requests otherwise in writing, PMDG Studio may use photographs or examples of completed work for its portfolio, website, social media and promotional materials, provided that confidential information is not intentionally disclosed.
29
Liability
PMDG Studio will take reasonable care in providing its products and services. However, PMDG Studio will not be responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
30
Force Majeure
PMDG Studio will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform its obligations where caused by events outside its reasonable control, including severe weather, fire, flood, power failure, equipment failure, supplier disruption, transport disruption, industrial action or other unexpected events.
31
Privacy
Customer information will be used for the purpose of processing orders, producing artwork, communicating with customers, arranging payment, delivery and installation, and maintaining appropriate business records.
32
Changes to These Terms
PMDG Studio may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The terms applicable to an order will normally be those provided or made available when that order is accepted.
33
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, subject to any mandatory legal rights available to the customer.
34
Acceptance
By approving a quotation, approving artwork, paying a deposit, making a payment or instructing PMDG Studio to proceed with an order, the customer confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
